Darkshadow's cattery's hometown is Kuopio, it is situated in Eastern Finland by a beautiful Lake Kallavesi. We are a married couple living with Norwegian Forestcats and one longhaired housecat.

Cattery name Fin*Darkshadow's was approved in FIFé in March 6th 2009. The name was actually very welcomed for us since the original idea of catteryname was to include it around gothic/fantasy/horror theme.

We have always had cats in our family and our very first Norwegian Forestcat we got to our lives from Snowmate's cattery. A very humble and playful boy, Mr Big aka Brady Oliver moved to live with us in June 2007.

We however dreamed of having more NFO cats, maybe even a catteryname of ours and kittens in the future.

All our cats are indoorcats and they live with us as familymembers. They are free to wander around in the house and enjoy life in our big apartment and balcony where they can follow the happenings of the yard and traffic. Cats are very adored, respected and very important part of our everyday life, they enjoy the attention and love of both of us and our families and friends.
